Electropolishing is a type of electrochemical processing; however, this form of electrochemical processing extracts the metal from the outer layer, leaving behind a clean, polished like, smooth finish based on the type of material used. We only perform this process on stainless steel materials due to the surface being less porous. This allows for reliable sterilization for any type of metal use including military, aerospace, medical and even household use. We use the following material, Electrogleam 55 made by MacDermid Industrial Solutions.
